I work Psychoanalytically using Object Relations Theory. This means that I explore both conscious and unconscious processes that impact how you experience life and relationships with significant others. Emphasis is placed on relationship connections and attachments, which we will explore together. Feedback from our work together will enable you to become more aware of patterns that keep you stuck and to experience new ways of relating with others.

I am certified in Energy Psychology and use mind and body-based techniques such as EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) along with other methods which work with the central nervous system. Traumatic experiences can create difficulty with communication between the mind and body, which hinders emotional healing. Mind-body approaches focus on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, sensations and behaviors, and address painful physiological symptoms.
